Thanks for coming back to check things out. I hope you've used this information to take respectful win-win action. Make it a Great Day! Emeric
Most likely you only speak English.
I’m not out to convert you.
Words have the power to lift your Mexican workers to productive heights you never thought possible.
Words can shove your Mexican workers into a
mud-filled retaining pond. Stuck and unproductive.
Do you know which words have what effect?
It’s not the same words for Mexicans and Americans.
From time to time I’ll give you some choice Spanish words anyone can say…and HOW to use them to leverage your Mexican worker strengths and weaknesses.
Even some cuss words. So your ears might recognize them.
Words specific to Mexicans.
Words you might not find anywhere else.
Words when used at the right moment with your Mexican workers will generate respect and trust.
Why? Simply, Because you are TRYING to communicate.
Don’t take “Trying” with a grain of salt. It’s a big deal and is one puzzle piece to your advanced success with Mexican workers.
There’s not enough time in this Blog to get into all the puzzle pieces making up Mexican worker secrets. That would take more than 382 articles (at one article per week that’s 7+ years).
HOWEVER…all it takes is one or two puzzle pieces to make a profitable difference with your Mexican workers.
Here’s a word you won’t learn in any Spanish course.
Chisme (cheese-meh).
Chisme means gossip. For example, if your Mexican worker gossips call him Chismoso (cheese-moh-soh). If female use Chismosa (cheese-moh-sah).
IF you are joking around with your Mexican workers and you mention these words with a smile, their jaw will drop in amazement.
Female or male owners/managers, it’s Ok to use this word.
Don’t worry about your “pronunciation”…that’s not the BIG IDEA.
Remember, TRYING to communicate is the respect builder.
Of course, you MUST use the right words.
By the Way, Don’t cuss around the workers. Kills respect. Even if they cuss, don’t get sucked into the mess.
To Your Success with Mexican workers,
Emeric
P.S. By the way, If you want to learn some Spanish fast, go get Rosetta Stone. Make sure you get Latin America version otherwise you’ll sound like a Spaniard.
Members Only mini-tip: Don’t sound like Spaniard. Mexicans hate ‘em.
